Defense Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Hrytsenko is satisfied with the results of his work on the post of the Defense Minister.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this today to a final press conference on the results of his work.
A.Hrytsenko noted there remained many problems to be solved, but, at the same time, cardinal shifts have been made in the system of the strategic defense planning.
In addition, all the pre-election promises of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko in the sphere of the Defense Ministry were fulfilled. Besides, the foundation for developing the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the nearest 6 years was laid.
As UNIAN reported earlier, a program of the Ukrainian Armed Forces development during 2006-2011 was adopted.
