Defense Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Hrytsenko is convinced that they try to compromise Ukraine at the international market of armaments.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this today to a final press conference on the results of his work.
“Very often, at a stage of preparing a large project on armaments or military supply, informational waves appear. Sometimes, I believe, they are provoked by our rivals in order to create a negative image around Ukraine”, A.Hrytsenko said. He noted that the competitiveness at the armaments market has been really tough, thus, one may not rule out that such actions are carried out by rivals.
Commenting on the information that a Ukrainian military cargo was arrested in Bosporus, A.Hrytsenko stressed that “Ukrspetsexport” state-owned company and its subsidiaries are busy with armaments export, and these issues are outside the competence of the Ministry.
