Top Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Finance Minister Mykola Azarov will leave for Bishkek (Kirghizia) to solve problems connected with Ukraine’s joining WTO.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, deputy President’s chief of staff Oleksander Shlapak claimed this to a press conference today.

According to him, this decision was made today at a session at the President, devoted to WTO-related issues.

Besides, O.Shlapak stressed, the Ukrainian President undertook a mission to hold talks with the President of Kirghizia about creating a working group to solve the unsolved issues (M.Azarov will head the Ukrainian part of this group, which will also include Foreign Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk).

“In the course of the visit, we can make very good proposals to Kirghizia, and lift all the complaints of this country”, O.Shlapak claimed. He added that in case of a successful of work of the group, all the problems with Kirghizia will be solved in a week or in ten days.

Besides, according to O.Shlapak, in addition to solving problems with Kirghizia, which are the most important for Ukraine’s joining WTO, the Ukrainian government has yet to adopt a number of normative documents, which will remove the advantage of Ukrainian producers over foreign ones. The government has already worked over these issues, and the documents are likely to be adopted by November 20. Ukraine also has to adopt amendments to 12 laws. According to O.Shlapak, these amendments will be adopted by the Verkhovna Rada as a package.
