2 thousand 360 settlements cut off from electricity in Ukraine

Due to natural disaster

2 thousand 360 settlements cut off from electricity in 16 Oblasts of Ukraine due to natural disaster (strong precipitation: sleet, rains, and wind blows up to 30 m/s) on 11 November and on the night of 12 November.

According to the press-service of the Ministry of Emergency, 503 settlements were cut off in the Mykolayiv Oblast, 265 – in the Kherson Oblast, 261 – in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, 246 – in the Zaporizhzhya Oblast, 236 – in the Crimea, 186 – in the Donetsk Oblast, 139 – in the Kyiv Oblast, 100 – in the Odessa Oblast, 96 – in the Kirovohrad Oblast, 91 – in the Chernihiv Oblast, 80 – in the Cherkassy Oblast, 63 – in the Kharkiv Oblast, 59 – in the Poltava Oblast, 27 – in the Luhansk Oblast, 3 – in the Vinytsia Oblast, and 2 – in the Zhytomyr Oblast.

Oblenerho repair crews were involved in works to resume electricity supplies in the settlements.
