The situation is more difficult in the regions that were the hardest hits of the natural disaster. According to the Emergencies Ministry, from 1,015 power-cut settlements 650 are located in the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea, the Mykolayiv and Kherson regions. The power supply was resumed only in 17 out of 236 settlements in the Crimea over the past day.

The Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Odessa regions have resumed the power supply in most affected settlements by Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions put into operation the reserve power line and resumed the power supply in Berdyansk, where the storm left without power, water, heating and gas supplies more than 100,000 residents of the port.

The emergency works are underway in the Kiev, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad and Lviv regions.
