Bread production in Ukraine trimmed by 2.6%

During January-May of the current year, the bread production in Ukraine trimmed by 2.6%, compared to the same period of the last year – to 825 thousand tons. UNIAN was informed on this at the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

      According to the information of the Committee, 175 thousand tons of bread were produced in May of the current year, which is by 7.6% more, compared with April of 2006, and by 2.8% less than in May of 2005.
