Today, on 15 June 2006, Ukraine and Columbia signed a bipartite market access protocol in Geneva.
According to the information of the press-service of the Ukrainian Economics Ministry, the document was signed within the framework of the 16th session of the Working Group for issues of Ukraine’s joining the World Trade Organization.

On behalf of Ukraine, the protocol was signed by deputy Economics Minister Valeriy Piatnytskiy.
The signing became another important step on the way towards completing the bilateral negotiations, according to the Ministry.
