Economics Ministry raised inflation forecast for 2007 from 7.5% to 14.5%

The Economics Ministry of Ukraine has raised the inflation forecast for the year 2007 from 7.5% to 14.5%.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, this is said in the additional materials to the proposed amendments to the state budget for the year 2008.

Besides, the government increased the GDP forecast for the year 2007 from 6.5% to 7%. In line with the new forecast, the Ukraine’s GDP in 2007 will make 708.3 billion hryvnias (the earlier forecast was 679.5 billion hryvnias - UNIAN).
