In the framework of the sitting of the CIS Prime Ministers` Council Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych held a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov, according to the government’s press-office. The heads of governments discussed fuel-energy and transport cooperation.

The PM of Kazakhstan presented his condolences to the Ukrainian side in the connection with accident at the Zasyadko mine. In his turn, Viktor Yanukovych underscored that in spite of the tragedy it wouldn’t affect the work of the coal sphere in Ukraine. Unfortunately, the PM stated, mining accidents occur all over the world. Some countries even refuse to work coal. “But, to my mind, neither Ukraine nor Kazakhstan refuse coal, it is essential of energy safety in both countries,” the Head of Ukrainian Government stressed.
