The Prosecutor’s General Office will hold the second experiment within frames of the investigation into the Gongadze case in the Presidential Secretariat in the nearest weekends.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleksander Medvedko claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today, answering questions of journalists.
According to him, the PGO turned to the Presidential Secretariat with a request to give it an opportunity to carry out another experiment in the cabinet of ex-President Leonid Kuchma.
Asked whether Mykola Melnychenko, ex-bodyguard of Kuchma, who made clandestine recordings of his conversations, will be present at the experiment, O.Medvedko stressed that he was in the Prosecutor’s General Office for the last time on 14 November, when he was interrogated.
“If we need him, I guess, he will come”, O.Medvedko said.
