Yanukovych not satisfied with results of gas talks
Earlier he agreed with Russian PM to prolong talks
Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych is not satisfied with the results of the talks of Fuel-Energy Minister Yuri Boyko about the price of the Russian natural gas for Ukraine.
He claimed this today, answering the question of an UNIAN correspondent.
“I will tell you sincerely, I’m not satisfied with this decision. Moreover, I did not have any such conversation with the Russian Prime Minister. We agreed to prolong the talks.
But, considering the difficult political times, the decision was made, and the respective directives were signed by the President of Ukraine to the Fuel-Energy Minister”, Victor Yanukovych said.
The Prime Minister also informed that he has not discussed as yet the topic with President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.
At the same time, Victor Yanukovych mentioned the words of Yuri Boyko, who believes the achieved agreements to be the best variant for Ukraine for the year 2008.
