Transport and Communication Minister of Ukraine Mykola Rudkovskiy claims that representatives of Presidential Secretariat, as well as other higher officials, fly abroad at the expense of state. He said this to Inter television on Friday.
“Look, Yuri Lutsenko made more than ten trips to Crimea with his family, Arseniy Yatseniuk paid with budget costs for his trips, from the Minister’s fund… I, being the Minister, know how many flights are made by chiefs of the Presidential Secretariat, members of the Presidential Secretariat, the family – all of them use “Ukraine” airline for their private interests”, the Transport Minister stressed.
He said this, commenting on the criminal case, brought by the Ukrainian Security Service on the fact of illegal use of 390 thousand hryvnias of budget means by the Transport Ministry. According to the information of mass media, the episode, about which M.Rudkovskiy was interrogated by SBU, is connected with a Kyiv-Paris-Kyiv flight by a private charter plane, which was carried out on June 9-12 of the current year at the expense of the Transport Ministry. As if, one of the former “Miss Ukraines” was on the board of the plane.
M.Rudkovskiy stressed he made a flight to Paris in line with the mission, confirmed by the Transport Ministry, and this was his professional duty.
Asked what an unauthorized person was doing on the board of the plane, M.Rudkovskiy stressed this information must be checked, and, if it is confirmed, it will be necessary to pay for the trip of this person.
The Minister called the activities of SBU a “provoking action”.
