Tymoshenko firmly decided to pay off depreciated USSR deposits
She ordered Finance Ministry and Savings Bank to prepare proposals
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko expects that by 21 December the Finance Ministry and the Savings Bank will prepare proposals on paying off depreciated deposits of USSR Sberbank.
According to the press-service of the Cabinet of Ministers, Yulia Tymoshenko ordered this to the Finance Ministry and the Savings Bank leadership at a session today.
“I firmly intend to fulfill all the obligations to people, and to return them their depreciated savings”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
According to the Prime Minister, the next year’s budget will include a significant bloc of issues for solving this problem.
Savings Bank OJSC chairman Anatoliy Huley, Finance Minister of Ukraine Victor Pinzenyk, and lawmaker Mykola Syvulskiy, who will probably be appointed on the post of the Control-Revision Chamber of Ukraine chairman, attended the session.
