President nominates security chief

President Victor Yushchenko forwarded for approval of the parliament candidature of Valentyn Nalyvaichenko for the post of Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine, according to the President`s press-office.

Oleksandr Shlapak, Deputy Chief of Presidential Secretariat and President’s representative to Cabinet of Ministers is authorized to announce the submitted candidature during plenary meeting of Verkhovna Rada.
