Unknown people beat BYT lawmaker

In the evening of 24 June, a group of unknown people attacked Andriy Portnov, lawmaker, member of the BYT faction and chief of the legal department of the Block of Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to the BYT press-service, the lawmaker was taken to hospital with a brain concussion and numerous injures. His state of health is satisfactory.

The Block of Yulia Tymoshenko calls on law-enforcement agencies to find and arrest the guilty.
