Yuri Kovrizhkin was appointed as head of “Enerhoatom” national nuclear power-generating company.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Fuel-Energy Minister of Ukraine Yuri Prodan claimed this to journalists today.

He disclosed that earlier Yuri Kovrizhkin occupied the post of his deputy, he also used to be the top deputy president of Enerhoatom.

Since October 2006, Enerhoatom had been headed by Andriy Derkach, who was sacked by the government on 8 November, 2007, as he was elected to the parliament.
