Pampushka fast eating championship to take place in Lviv

A pampushka festival will take place for the first time in Lviv on January 13.

The press service of the Lviv City Council disclosed to UNIAN that the ceremonial opening is fixed at 12.00 pm at Rynok Square in the center of the city.

The aim of the festival is to acquaint Lviv residents and guests of the city with pampushka [a sort of fritter] world traditions and different recipes of the pampushka cooking.

According to the information of the press-service, within the frameworks of the festival, a trade fair of fritters will take place. Besides, there will be held a pampushka fast eating championship. To win the championship, one will have to eat the biggest number of pampushkas during the shortest period of time.
