President Victor Yushchenko made comments on main aspects of his annual address to Verkhovna Rada, according to the President`s press-office.
Fist of all in his address President plans to dwell on macroeconomic showings. To V. Yushchenko’s mind last year’s economic dynamics level was high and it is important to preserve that level during 2008.
Among the drawbacks which require attention President named budgetary deficit and inflation. Therefore government, Ministry of finance and National bank should urgently prepare a plan of anti-inflation measures. V. Yushchenko also informed that his annual address shall hold a request to modify relations between the state and business regarding VAT repayment issues.
Another topic President is to dwell on is preparation measures to Euro-2012 and the need to begin taking concrete steps in that direction. Besides V. Yushchenko shall insist on preparation and realization of affordable accommodation building plan in 2008.
