Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claims that Mittal Steel fulfilled the conditions of the privatization agreement on Kryvorizhstal steel mill.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this today at a government session, commenting on the results of the inspection on fulfilling the agreement.
“Kryvorizhstal has significantly boosted volumes of production, and some 800 million dollars have been invested into the enterprise”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
The Prime Minister also informed that the Kryvorizhstal investor fulfills its obligations on increasing the salary and carrying out measures on environmental protection in the region.
“The budget receives by billions of hryvnias more than it received before the privatization of this object. I may state that this enterprise works, and, without any doubt, very successfully”, the Prime Minister emphasized.
