Poroshenko for canceling mediation of RosUkrEnergo

Lawmaker Petro Poroshenko, member of Our Ukraine faction, speaks for canceling the mediation of RosUkrEnergo AG (Switzerland) at the Russian natural gas supplies to Ukraine. P.Poroshenko disclosed this to NTN televisions on Monday.

According to him, as of today, there is no alternative to refusing from intermediaries in the sphere of gas supplies. “To have direct relations with Russian Federation structures, providing our energy security, it is a national interest of Ukraine presently”, he said.

At the same time, he stressed: “RosUkrEnergo, Itera, any other intermediaries are unacceptable”.

He added that this problem should be solved over negotiations.
