600 thousand hryvnias channeled to citizens’ accounts

According to the data of 21 January, 600 thousand hryvnias [120 thousand US dollars] of compensation for depreciated Soviet-era Savings Bank deposits were channeled to the accounts of Ukrainian citizens.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Finance Minister Victor Pinzenyk disclosed this to journalists today.

“We operatively and daily work with the Savings Bank of Ukraine, providing its with the necessary support. As soon as we receive a signal from the Savings Bank, we allocate the necessary resources for transferring to the accounts of depositors”, V.Pinzenyk said.
