Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko insist that all intermediaries must be removed from the gas relations between Ukraine and Russia.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this to a press conference after a meeting with European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso.
“My stance is absolutely invariable: Ukraine does not need any shadow intermediaries for its contracts on gas supplies from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
She stressed that the arrests that took place lately [she meant Semyon Mogilevich] indicate that the world community also has been watching the situation in the gas relations of Ukraine and Russia, and does not allow developing any shadow models, including in the EU countries.
