Ukraine plans to set up Trade Mission in Sweden
To boost commercial ties
Ukraine plans to set up a Trade and Economic Mission at the Ukraine’s Embassy to Sweden shortly.
According to the Ministry of Economics press-service chief Roksolana Stadnyk, the Mission will focus on broadening trade and economic ties between the two countries.
According to the information of the press-service, Economics Minister of Ukraine Bohdan Danylyshyn and Swedish Minister for Trade Eva Bjorling met today within frameworks of “Ukraine-Sweden: Business Partners” business-forum, taking place in Kyiv. They discussed perspectives of the bilateral trade and economic collaboration.
In the opinion of the sides, the most perspective fields of collaboration between Ukraine and Sweden are industry, building, banking, tourism, investments, and science.
In his turn, Eva Bjorling assured the Ukrainian part of her support.
Besides, a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding was signed between the Commercial-Industrial Chamber of Ukraine and the Association of Trade and Industrial Chambers of Sweden.
Sweden is the biggest trade partner of Ukraine in the Northern Europe.
