Inflation in Ukraine made up 2.9% in January compared with December

Inflation in Ukraine in January 2008 made up 19.4% compared with January 2007, and in January compared with December 2007 made up 2.9%.

It is said in the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, posted at the website of the agency.

UNIAN’s note. Inflation in Ukraine in December 2007 compared with December 2006 made up 16.6%, in January-December 2007 compared with January-December 2006 – 12.8%. Inflation in December compared with November of previous year made up 2.1%, in January – December (December 2006) – 16.6%.
