Tymoshenko accuses Firtash, Boyko, and Voronin of energy terrorism
Signing contracts with RosUkrEnergo is inadmissible
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko accuses co-owner of RosUkrEnergo Dmitriy Firtash, ex-Fuel-Energy Minister of Ukraine Yuri Boyko, and UkrGas Energo chairman of board Igor Voronin of energy terrorism.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv today, after an extraordinary session of the government, which considered the issue of natural gas supplies to Ukraine.
“RosUkrEnergo, which is today represented by Firtash, Boyko, and Voronin, has employed a real energy terror against Ukraine. Today the prosecutor’s office is keeping quiet, SBU is keeping quiet, all force structures are keeping quiet”, Yulia Tymoshenko said.
According to the Prime Minister, the only thing that she received was a letter from President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, ordering the government to sign all contracts on natural gas supplies with the Russian side. Yulia Tymoshenko surmised the matter concerns signing contracts with RosUkrEnergo, which she believes to be inadmissible.
The Prime Minister also believes that D.Firtash and Yu.Boyko “humiliate Ukraine, humiliate the government, and absolutely misinform the society”.
