Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko and the board of Ministry’s chief decided to wipe out “Kobra” subdivision of the traffic police.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, top deputy Interior Minister of Ukraine Mykhaylo Klyuyev disclosed this to journalists today.
“The Minister and the board decided to wipe out this subdivision. Presently an organizational work is carried out”, he said.
At the same time, M.Klyuyev noted that, instead of the liquidated Kobra, there will be three subdivisions, the talks of which will be to accompany higher officials. “They will not have any special authority in regions”, he said.
Asked how he assesses the dismissal of Kobra chief Oleksiy Kozha, M.Klyuyev said: “The Minister sacked him legally”.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Kobra chief Oleksiy Kobra gave the finger to the Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk, after which the former was sacked.
