Business magazine has published a selection of innovations in the agricultural sector, which accounts for the lion's share of Ukraine's exports and is rapidly moving towards expanding value-adding food processing. The Avis egg farm, a part of of Avangardco IPL, owned by the Ukrainian businessman Oleg Bakhmatyuk, has been recognised as one of the most innovative businesses in the agricultural sector by the Business magazine. Ukraine's largest egg farm with a full production cycle is known as the producer of chicken eggs under the Kvochka brand.

According to Business, Avis egg farm is a state-of-the-art production facility with a closed-cycle for chicken egg production (a business model that enables us to produce a large number of high-quality eggs while protecting natural resources and taking good care of the laying hens). This includes controlling the quality of air, water and used for the birds. The eggs produced here comply with European and Halal standards, while thoughtful logistics system enables us to deliver eggs to consumers as fresh as possible.

The company uses wastewater treatment plants from the leading international manufacturer Nijhuis and, together with the State Institute of Soil Protection of Ukraine. It is a technology that produces products for human consumption

humans and helps protect the environment while producing organic dry fertiliser, organic liquid fertiliser and electricity.

To achieve this, Avangard has built a biogas plant that produces "green" electricity from from chicken manure.

Avangardco IPL, which is part of the Ukrlandfarming Group, is owned by the Ukrainian businessman Oleg Bakhmatyuk. It operates 19 egg farms, 6 feed mills and 2 pullet farms. Two of the egg farms, Chornobaivske branch and Avis, were built in 2003 using state-of-the- art equipment.

An international audit of these egg farms took place in 2018 and confirmed that they comply with all requirements to export eggs to the European Union. In addition, in 2019, these two egg farms were certified as compliant with Halal and confirmed their existing ISO 22000:2005 certificate, which guarantees full control over the entire production cycle.
