Bakhmatyuk's Company in Carpathian Region Purchases Supplies for Local Hospitals

Representatives of the company Agrocompany Prykarpattia LLC of the Ukrlandfarming agricultural group have donated medical equipment (a disinfector) and expendables to Ivano-Frankivsk City Clinical Hospital.

Agrocompany Prykarpattya LLC, a part of Ukrlandfarming, one of the largest agricultural groups in Ukraine, owned by the businessman Oleg Bakhmatyuk, has agreed to donate supplies and equipment to regional hospitals  to help respond to the COVID epidemic in Ukraine.

Agrocompany Prykarpattya LLC has donated medical equipment (a disinfector) and consumables to the Ivano-Frankivsk City Clinical Hospital to disinfect the hospital premises.

This is necessary primarily to protect medical staff in contact with sick patients, as they are in the main group of risk, the hospital says.

"We are grateful for this aid, because the number of patients is increasing every day," says the chief medical officer for the Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Centre.

According to the press service of the agricultural group, Ukrlandfarming group companies have been approached for assistance by medical institutions from all over Ukraine. In particular, the company Agrocompany Prykarpattya also has provided assistance to the Regional Clinical Centre for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine to purchase protective suits for all ambulance crews in the region, Horodenka Central District Hospital and Monastyryska District Hospital in Ternopil region with the acquisition of lung ventilators. Four ultrasonic inhalers have also been purchased for the Chemerovets District Hospital in Khmelnitsky Region.
