Twelve coronavirus patients died in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the overall death toll to 617.
However, 7,108 patients have already recovered, the National Security and Defense Council said on its website on May 24.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine as of Sunday morning was 20,986, including 406 in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases is 13,261, while suspected cases total 52,534.
The largest number of cases is registered in Chernivtsi region (3,028), the city of Kyiv (2,623), and Kyiv region (1,419).
As of 08:30 a.m. Kyiv time, 5,311,624 coronavirus cases were reported worldwide, the death toll was 342,105, including 3,880 in the past 24 hours.
