Twelve coronavirus patients died in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the overall death toll to 708.
As of 09:00 Kyiv time on May 31, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine was 23,672; of them, 468 cases were registered in the past 24 hours, the National Security and Defense Council said on its COVID-19 monitoring website on May 31.

The number of active cases is 13,426, while suspected cases total 58,843.
The largest number of conformed cases is registered in Chernivtsi region (3,349), the city of Kyiv (2,985), and Rivne region (1,713).
However, 9,538 patients have already recovered; 227 recoveries were reported in the past 24 hours alone.
