The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine exceeded 32,400 as of the morning of Tuesday, June 16.
"According to the Public Health Center, there were 32,476 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine as of 09:00 Kyiv time on June 16," Ukraine's Health Ministry said on Facebook in its morning update on June 16.
Of them, 666 cases were reported in the past 24 hours.
Eleven coronavirus patients died in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the overall death toll to 913.
As many as 14,528 patients, including 275 in the past day, have already recovered.
Overall incidence per region is the following: 1,455 cases in Vinnytsia region; 1,499 in Volyn region; 1,004 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 338 in Donetsk region; 1,101 in Zhytomyr region; 1,726 in Zakarpattia region; 531 in Zaporizhia region; 1,809 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 590 in Kirovohrad region; 3,985 in the city of Kyiv; 2,049 in Kyiv region; 3,072 in Lviv region; 60 in Luhansk region; 321 in Mykolayiv region; 1,133 in Odesa region; 279 in Poltava region; 2,473 in Rivne region; 228 in Sumy region; 1,483 in Ternopil region; 1,595 in Kharkiv region; 183 in Kherson region; 560 in Khmelnytsky region; 4,013 in Chernivtsi region; 562 in Cherkasy region; 427 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available
COVID-19 tests were conducted by the Public Health Center's virological reference laboratory and regional laboratories. As of the morning of June 16, 2020, the Center had received 1,388 reports of suspected cases. In total, there have been 73,517 reports on suspected COVID-19 since the beginning of 2020.
As UNIAN reported earlier, there were 31,810 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine as of the morning of June 15. They include 901 deaths and 14,253 recoveries. Some 656 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.
