The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine as of the morning of July 12 was 53,521, including new 678 cases in the past day.
The overall death toll was 1,383 people with 11 deaths registered in the past 24 hours, according to the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council's interactive map.

Some 26,118 COVID-19 patients have already recovered since the start of the epidemic in Ukraine; the number of recoveries in the past 24 hours was 457 people.
Lviv region was in the lead by number of COVID-19 patients with 7,003 cases confirmed since the coronavirus pandemic reached Ukraine. Of them, 121 were confirmed in the past day.
The city of Kyiv ranked second with 6,182 confirmed cases, including 67 in the past 24 hours.
The situation remains unfavorable in Chernivtsi region, where the total number of confirmed cases was 5,140, including 23 in the past day; Rivne region (4,598 and 78, respectively), and Zakarpattia region (3,909 and 67).
As UNIAN reported earlier, some 800 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine as of the morning of July 11, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 52,843.
