The dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic are stabilizing in Ukraine despite an increase in the number of cases in June.

The relevant information was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a regular conference call with President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to the president's press service.

It is noted the indicators seen by the Health Ministry demonstrate stabilization of coronavirus spread in Ukraine. This is reflected both in the statistics of active cases and hospital load, which has remained almost unchanged over the recent weeks.

In turn, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said the share of health workers who have contracted COVID-19 was declining. Now it stands at 6%.

As UNIAN reported earlier, 543 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 49,043 as of the morning of July 6.
