Ukraine reports 800 new COVID-19 cases in past day

Some 800 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 52,843 as of the morning of July 11.

The death toll in Ukraine now is 1,372 people, including 27 who died in the past 24 hours, according to the interactive map of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council.

As many as 25,661 patients, including 861 in the past day, have already recovered.

The largest number of new cases was registered in the capital city of Kyiv (125), and Lviv (119) and Volyn (108) regions.
