Health minister names Ukraine regions with largest number of COVID-19 cases in past day

Ukrainian Health Minister Maksym Stepanov has named three regions with the largest number of COVID-19 cases reported in the country in the past day.

"In terms of the regions, the highest number of confirmed cases in the past 24 hours was registered in Lviv region (112 cases), the city of Kyiv (95), and Vinnytsia region (81)," he said during an online briefing on June 12.

As UNIAN reported earlier, there were 29,753 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine as of the morning of June 12, including 870 COVID-19 deaths and 13,567 recoveries. Some 683 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.
