Ukrainian Health Ministry says eight Ukrainian regions are not ready for the easing of the quarantine-related restrictions, as the incidence of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases there exceeds the limit.

In particular, Volyn, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions are not ready for the easing of quarantine, the ministry said.

It is noted the daily incidence should be lower than 24 new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people in the last seven days to lift more quarantine-related curbs in the regions.

As UNIAN reported earlier, some 810 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 51,224 as of the morning of July 9.
