Ukraine's Health Ministry says nine Ukrainian regions are not ready for lifting COVID-19 curbs.
The epidemiological situation as of August 10 did not let such regions as Volyn, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Odesa, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernivtsi enter the next stage of easing the coronavirus-related quarantine, the ministry said on its website.

To have COVID-19 curbs lifted, regions, cities and towns in Ukraine should meet a set of criteria.
Such criteria reflect measures to control the spread of the virus, hospitals' capacities, and the ability of the healthcare system as a whole to counter the spread of COVID-19, the ministry said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's authorities on Monday, August 10, said the number of new active COVID-19 cases increased by 1,008 over the past 24 hours.
Depending on the epidemiological situation, all regions in Ukraine are divided into several zones from August 1: green, yellow, orange, and red according to the COVID-19 risk levels.
