He is charged with committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (creating a terrorist group or terrorist organization).

He will soon be served with charge papers.

The SBU has records of K.'s telephone conversations, where he reveals the details of interdepartmental wars between the GRU and the FSB over control of "DPR" leaders.

During their phone talks, the persons involved in the case mention the names of FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov and his deputies Andrei Burlaka and Sergey Smirnov, assistant to the president of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov, leaders of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko, Alexander Borodai, and others.

Also an important part of the recordings are conversations of K. with GRU Major General Sergey Dubinsky (nom de guerre "Khmuryi") and Leonid Kharchenko (nom de guerre "Krot"), who are on the international wanted list in the case of the downing of Malaysian Airline flight MH17 in Donbas, which resulted in 298 deaths.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the detainee also managed an agent network and a number of acts of terror and sabotage were committed on his orders in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.

It was established that the leaders and representatives of the so-called "DPR Intelligence Directorate" are directly related to the downing of the passenger plane.
