Over 12,000 COVID-19 recoveries seen in Ukraine

Ukraine's health officials say 26,999 cases of the novel coronavirus have been reported across the country since the outbreak of the pandemic.

Over the past 24 hours, 485 new cases were confirmed along with 11 deaths, which brings the death toll to 788, the National Security and Defense Council reports.

At the same time, 12,054 patients recovered (242 in the past day).

To date, 14,157 people are being treated with 65,105 suspicions.

The largest number of cases was registered in Chernivtsi region (3,639), the city of Kyiv (3,418) and Lviv region (2,121).

Globally, the number of recoveries stands at 3,071,403 amid 6,855,858 infection total.
