Ukraine's Deputy Health Minister, Chief Medical Officer Viktor Liashko has said the ministry is ready to deploy makeshift hospitals in regions with a shortage of beds for patients with coronavirus.

"There are local settlements and administrative territories in which the bed occupancy is growing fast enough, so there is a need for makeshift hospitals and mobile teams that will provide medical care to patients," he told Ukraine 24 TV channel, as reported by the Novoe Vremya news outlet on October 10.
