Ukraine sees record-high number of new active COVID-19 cases amid quarantine easing
The number of the new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine hit a record 689 over the past 24 hours, health officials report.
This brings a total of Ukraine cases to 29,070 as of the morning of Thursday, June 11.
Twenty-one coronavirus patients died in the past day, with the overall death toll of 854.
At the same time, 372 patients recovered in the past day.
No data is available from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
