Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says there is no second wave of COVID-19 in Ukraine yet.

"Frankly speaking, we really have no second wave yet. I think people feel this," he told journalists during a working trip to Volyn region, an UNIAN correspondent reports.

"But everyone needs to be careful. The number of cases really increases due to negligence," Zelensky added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, some 810 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 51,224 as of the morning of July 9.
