254 Ukrainian sportsmen to take part in Olympic Games in Beijing

254 Ukrainian sportsmen will take part in the Olympic Games in Beijing, which will open on August 8.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Family, Youth and Sports Minister of Ukraine Yuri Pavlenko said this at a news conference in the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday.

According to his words, Ukraine succeeded in forming the most numerous team of sportsmen for participation in the Olympic Games, for the first time through the history of Ukraine`s independence.

The Ukraine team is forecasted to win 13-15 Olympic awards, the Minister disclosed.
