Italy will take on Ukraine and China will meet South Korea in the semifinals of the Olympic men`s team archery competition, according to AP.South Korea, the heavy favorite for the event that it has won in the past two Olympics, fought off a strong challenge from Poland in the quarterfinals in front of a boisterous crowd made up of Koreans. The South Korean women`s team took the gold in its event Sunday.
Ukraine, the bronze medalist from the Athens Games, put out 2004 silver medalist Taiwan. Italy beat Malaysia and China put out Russia.
