Ukraine wins another Olympic silver

Andriy Stadnik of Ukraine has won Olympic silver in the Men`s Freestyle Wrestling 66 kilogram final on Wednesday, August 20, according to the official web site of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Ramazan Shahin of Turkey barely defeated the Ukrainian sportsman.

A.Stadnik took the first period 2-2 by scoring the last point. Shahin then clawed one period back 2-1. The deciding period was 2-2 after the first two minutes, but Shahin scored the last point and thus won the bout.

This is the first gold medal won by Turkey in this tournament.
