Ukraine’s Taras Danko took the men`s 84kg freestyle wrestling bronze medal in Beijing on Thursday, according to BBC Sports.Georgia`s Revazi Mindorashvili took the gold medal with victory over Yusup Abdusalomov of Tajikistan in the final. The 32-year-old former world champion recovered well after narrowly losing the first period to dominate Abdusalomov, who seemed to tire. The Georgian took the second period with three takedowns, while adding two pushouts and a takedown in the third.
Taras Danko of Ukraine and Russia`s Georgy Ketoev claimed bronze medals.
Danko scored two pushouts and a takedown without reply to defeat Serhat Balci of Turkey, while world champion Ketoev scored the last two points of his match with Germany`s Davyd Bichinashvili to snatch victory.
