Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu did not even attempt to conceal his emotions during the post-match conference after Barça scored a controversial equalizer in their Champions League clash.

Shakhtar looked on course for a huge upset as they led the mighty Catalans 1-0 right up until the 87th minute.

Lionel Messi took advantage of a blunder from goalkeeper Andrey Pyatov to tap in the equalizer after Barça had decided to keep on playing despite Shakhtar relinquishing possession to allow an injured player to be treated.

It left Lucescu fuming and he was not discreet about it either during the post-game interviews as he ripped into his opponents.

“It is a shame what Barcelona have done today. If this happened in any other stadium, in England or in Italy, they would not have been allowed to get out of this alive,” he berated.

“To win this way is not Barcelona’s style. It is a shame what they have done to the name of fair play,” he continued.

Lucescu’s tirade went on and on and he had to be restrained by team captain Dario Srna and when he started yelling towards Guardiola, several other members of the club had to interject and pull him out of the press conference zone.
