The Cabinet of Ministers, at its Wednesday session, made decision to dissolve the National Agency for Preparation to Hosting the European Football Championships in 2012, and created a Coordination Bureau for Euro-2012 Issues within frames of the governmental secretariat.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Ukrainian Football Federation chief Hryhoriy Surkis disclosed this to journalists on Wednesday.

"This is a result of criticism by UEFA," said Hryhoriy Surkis said to journalists.

UNIAN note. The National Agency of Ukraine for Preparation to Hosting the European Football Tournament in 2012 was formed in August of 2007. In December, Yevhen Chervonenko was appointed as head of the Agency.

Ukraine and Poland were named co-hosts for the high-profile tournament in April 2007. The formation of a National Agency for the Preparation of Ukraine for Euro 2012 was announced in January 2008.
