UEFA softens pressure on Poland Ukraine timetable

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) is aware of the fact that the economic situation has been fluctuating and it is reaching out to us by declaring that existing three-star hotels will be taken into consideration in the context of EURO 2012 Football Championships’ Marcin Herra, who heads the PL.2012 agency preparing the event, told the Polish News Agency.
A meeting in Nyon in Switzerland on January 28 focused on the financial situation of Poland and Ukraine in view of preparations for EURO 2012. Poland was represented by Marcin Herra, Grzegorz Lato, the president of the Polish Football Association (PFA) and Adam Olkowicz, chairman of PFA team for organizing EURO 2102; Ukraine was represented by Ivan Vasiunyk, Ukrainian Prime Minister responsible for the preparations, Hryhorij Surkis, head of Ukrainian Football Federation and the executive director for EURO 2012 Ivan Fedorenko. The debates were headed by UEFA president Michel Platini in the presence of Martin Kallen, the director of EURO 2012 UEFA Department.
