UEFA President Michel Platini says he remains convinced that Poland and Ukraine will be able to organize the Euro 2012 championships despite delays and financial problems in both countries, AP reported.

Platini told European legislators "it won`t be necessary to change," when asked whether the troubled co-hosting would have to be revoked.

Delays and problems in the construction of stadiums and infrastructure have been compounded by the global financial crisis, raising fears UEFA might switch hosts. But Platini said the construction of the main stadiums in Kiev and Warsaw continued apace and that UEFA was sticking with Ukraine and Poland.
